Installation
To install a vinyl sea wall using Type Z vinyl sheet piling, the following steps are recommended:
1. Prepare the site by clearing any debris, vegetation, or obstacles that may interfere with the installation.
2. Mark the alignment and elevation of the seawall using stakes, string lines, or lasers.
3. Drive the first pair of Type Z vinyl sheets into the ground using a vibratory hammer or an impact hammer. The sheets should be aligned horizontally and vertically, and driven to the desired depth or refusal.
4. Drive the next pair of Type Z vinyl sheets into the ground, interlocking them with the previous pair. Repeat this process until the entire length of the seawall is completed.
5. Backfill the seaward side of the seawall with suitable material, such as sand, gravel, or stone, to provide stability and drainage.
6. Finish the landward side of the seawall with soil, sod, or landscaping as desired.
