Guangdong Haikuo Composite Materials Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) products, has announced the launch of a new GFRP rebar production line, capable of producing high-quality, cost-effective glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) rebar for a range of applications.
GFRP rebar — also known as fiberglass rebar, FRP rebar, or composite rebar — is a non-metallic reinforcement that can replace steel rebar in concrete structures. GFRP rebar offers real advantages over steel: corrosion resistance, light weight, high strength, electromagnetic neutrality, thermal insulation, and easy installation.
The new production line is a fully automated, intelligent system that produces GFRP rebar in different diameters, lengths, and shapes to meet customer requirements. It uses advanced technology and equipment — pultrusion machine, winding machine, cutting machine, curing oven, and more — producing rebar with a diameter range of 4mm to 32mm and a length range of 1m to 12m.
The GFRP rebar from the new line has passed a range of tests and certifications, offering excellent mechanical properties and durability for use across concrete structures — bridges, tunnels, roads, buildings, dams, seawalls, and pipelines.
